The Executive Director of the Organization for Innovation and Sustainable Development (OISD), Mr. Jamilu Yusuf, on May 13, 2025, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the Emir of Bwari, His Royal Highness Etsu Bwari, to seek royal support for the organization’s community-focused initiatives.

Accompanied by members of his team, including Abubakar Ardo and Eugenia Sanda, Mr. Yusuf highlighted OISD’s ongoing programmes aimed at improving digital literacy among teachers and enhancing agricultural practices for farmers in local communities. He noted that the indigenous people of Bwari stand to benefit significantly from these capacity-building interventions.

In his response, the Sarkin Bwari commended the organization’s efforts to uplift rural communities through education and innovation. He offered his blessings and assured the delegation of his full support and readiness to partner with OISD in implementing its initiatives within the Bwari community.

As a token of goodwill, Mr. Yusuf presented a gift to the Emir on behalf of OISD, symbolizing the organization’s commitment to collaboration and grassroots development.

The visit marks a vital step in OISD’s strategy to engage traditional institutions and strengthen local partnerships, paving the way for sustainable impact in the Bwari area.
