WHO WE ARE
Organisation for Innovation and Sustainable Development (OISD) as a non-governmental, non-profit organization was incorporated in May 2014 in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Guided by the belief that every life has equal value, the OISD works to help empower women, youths and the girl-child to live healthy and productive lives. It is a body focused on the all-around development of the individual especially those who belong to the vulnerable group.
In the North-East, it focuses on improving people’s lives and giving them the chance to lift themselves out of hunger and extreme poverty. It also seeks to guarantee that everyone, especially those with hardly any resources have access to the opportunities they need to succeed in education and life.

Improving the delivery of high-impact vocational training (with a focus on employment generation) to the poorest communities and helping in the expansion of access to wealth, to meet sustainable development goal 4 quality education and goal 10 reduced inequality.
Women and Youth employment by creating and scaling market-based innovations to stimulate inclusive and sustainable economic growth in line with sustainable development goal 8: decent work and economic growth.
Building strategic relationships and promoting policies that will help advance our work thus meeting sustainable development goal 17: partnerships to achieve the Goal.
